replacements

i finally bought new flip flops. these ones actually flip and flop. i am worried about blisters, so i'll probably continue to wear my holey ones more until they completely fall apart.



i also bought a new bathing suit and some shorts and some other shoes and some mascara. woo.

Check Out my Tree

isn't that horrible? the neighbours behind us want to put in a pool, so they paid to have their tree and my tree cut down. the tree cutters couldn't get through the millions of knots on my tree, so they left it like this. my yard is completely full of sun all day, the grass is dying and the flowers are in shock. my cats hate it too and i feel bad for how embarrassed the tree would be if it knew how it looked now. i was actually wondering if it knows that it doesn't have any leaves or branches anymore and it just made me really sad. at least my pool will be really warm now.

Rides

i like two things about the carnival - $6 cherry lemonade and overly ornate rides. the lemonade stand was closed, so this is all i was able to get.

Officially Summer

hello summer. next time i'll bring a tripod, i swear.

Officially Summer

it is finally my favourite season, but it doesn't feel like it at all. the sky is grey and cloudy more often then not. it rains a lot. my pool isn't open. i'm still pasty and gross. i have barely worn skirts. where is the summerness.

i've been cutting my hair constantly all month and this is what i've ended up with:







i think the back needs to be trimmed a bit, but overall, i'm pretty impressed.

this is a boring post. sorry.

Do Good Divas

I finally finished my first "commissioned" drawing for the Do Good Divas. It's exciting. It took some time and some tweaks to get it exactly how the client wanted it, so her she is in all her changing glory:





The original concept. The arm has no attitude at all, lol.



My favourite version. I hated the hair at first, but I played around with colours and now I'm in love.



And finally, the final version! The Do Good Diva colours are pink and lime green.



This lady will be on flyers, posters, tshirts, etc. I am happy :) Up next: poster-making!

i downloaded Jasc Animation Shop again! i haven't had it in years. i'm excited.


i'm going to my cousin's house for my other couin's 14th birthday party. my mom told me to bring my bathing suit. i was excited and was going to until i realized that there's going to be a million 13 and 14 year old boys there, so instead i will bring knitting needles.
