how to save a life

i saved it from drowning in my pool. my sister and i watched it for fifteen minutes as it recovered and dried off its wings.

i finally bought new flip flops. these ones actually flip and flop. i am worried about blisters, so i'll probably continue to wear my holey ones more until they completely fall apart.



i also bought a new bathing suit and some shorts and some other shoes and some mascara. woo.

isn't that horrible? the neighbours behind us want to put in a pool, so they paid to have their tree and my tree cut down. the tree cutters couldn't get through the millions of knots on my tree, so they left it like this. my yard is completely full of sun all day, the grass is dying and the flowers are in shock. my cats hate it too and i feel bad for how embarrassed the tree would be if it knew how it looked now. i was actually wondering if it knows that it doesn't have any leaves or branches anymore and it just made me really sad. at least my pool will be really warm now.
